It’s great. The stalls are very eclectic, the food and coffee at the market and nearby are great, and it’s fun to people-watch (the clientele are very diverse and there’s always lots going on). I’d highly recommend it. 👍

Have not been to the barras for many, many years, and we took our kids and their friends for the first time. They enjoyed the experience. It has changed so much that it is not as busy as it used to be, and all the banter at the stalls outside haggling.

I made it towards the last hour and people were already closing up. I wish it stayed open a little later but it is huge! Lots of food and snacks around! Must see if here over the weekend. The locals mentioned Saturday is the better day for sure.

Le Barras Market est un endroit à voir si vous êtes de passage. D’extérieur, cela ne donne pas vraiment envie d’y aller, avec des stands qui font très vide-grenier et une ambiance un peu vieillotte.
Mais une fois à l’intérieur, on peut trouver des stands sympas avec des objets originaux, de l’artisanat et quelques bonnes affaires.
